1) The importance of the US & Western Europe to the global economy remains strong;
2) You have to wonder though whether all that trans-Atlantic traffic is really necessary?
3) Emerging markets and the developing world, seem a lot more self reliant for sourcing and markets than I for one would have thought; OR
4) The issue could be that the quality of their ports and related infrastructure prevent these countries from playing a more significant role in global trade?
